The Resurrection

For those that were touched by the film, The Passion of the Christ, the second part will begin filming soon, which narrates the years after the resurrection of Christ. The film will touch on the expansion of the Christian church and the temptation for power and money of the men that condemned Jesus, Pontius Pilate, Caiaphas and Judas.

The film will be based on biblical stories and historical information of Jesus and other key people of that time, the producer of the film Bill McKay stated.
 
The movie will be filmed in Israel, Morocco, and parts of Europe.  They will begin in July and will work for about ten weeks with a 20 million dollar budget. The release is expected for Easter week 2011.
