CHRISTIAN ARTIST WINS LATIN GRAMMY AWARDThe Ecuadorian Christian singer, Paulian Aguirre, won a gramophone at the 10th annual Latin Grammy Awards, where also the Brazilian group Oficina G3 won for their release of Depois Da Guerra. Aquirre was awarded for her Christian CD, Esperando Tu Voz (Waiting on your Voice), she feels this award will elevate the identity of her country to another level and dedicated it especially to them, hoping to help them believe that they too can get ahead. The Brazilian rock band Oficina G3, made up of Juninho, Jean, Duca, Mauro and Celso, received the gold Gramophone in the same ceremony. Juninho expressed the sentiments of the group, “We want everyone to know that we are so happy, this award means a lot to us. We want to share our gratitude to all the members of the Academy, our family, friends, and all that believed in our work. May God bless you all.” |
