Happy New Year 2011

For many it is known that the Jewish year begins in the months of September and October. The celebration is called Rosh Hashanah, which means head of the year, because according to Jewish tradition was in these months that God created the world and man.

Surely this celebration was overshadowed because it mixes so many other news in the world. As the anniversary of the attack on the twin towers, the hunting of Gaddafi, Obama and reviving the American economy, Chavez and his fight against cancer, rumored iPad 3 for fall 2012 and many others.

But the Jewish New Year brings better news between the lines. For though we should not judge anyone for different believes celebration and their traditions, this celebration and its reasons in particular, have some interesting things.

Because the fact that man was created, it should be a daily celebration. For God did not take a break after doing everything he did, especially his masterpiece, the sixth day. As Jesus confirm when he said"... My Father worketh hitherto, and I work" (John 5:17). Simply because God is not finished, has not given up and will not forsake the work of His hands (Psalm 138:8).

Today and tomorrow we celebrate a new day, a new year and a time when God will continue to refine what he has created. If God has not given up on you, do not give up either with Him. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!
