Your Wife Will Applaud you

Since ancient times, some women stood out because of their bravery and initiative to rise up and lead their homes and cities. This tendency has grown tremendously as women have taken a more prominent role in society and the family.  We celebrate this since most of these women have taken this role due to the lack of character and responsibility on the part of the men.
 
In spite of this it should be clear to families that the man has been called to lead his wife, his children and the family in general.  As part of this important task, we have the responsibility to make the decisions.  Most of all the decisions that will affect our loved ones directly and are linked to the well being of our family.
 
“As for me and my house we will serve the Lord” Joshua said with no excuses, speaking in the name of his family.  I understand that this responsibility should not fall on our wives.  They are called to help us, advise us and support us in our decisions, but not to take the place that belongs to us as the leaders of our home.
 
God will be by your side, especially when the decisions are guided by His Word and His Spirit.  Do not fear taking on this role in your home and to say with confidence “I have the last word”, because your wife will applaud you.
