“HELP ME!”

Recently, these chilling statistics were revealed that in the United States out of every 5 people that commit suicide, 4 are men, surely the same statistics are the tendency in Latin America.

This is only one evidence that confirms our male chauvinism, to avoid at all cost, asking for help.   We can agree that men have opposition and even a fear to seek help, because this, in our vocabulary equals weakness, ignoring that the wisest man on earth declared that “Two are better than one.” (Ecclesiastics 4)

Men, there is nothing wrong with seeking help; we have needed it at one point or another, whether in our marriage, with our family, our relationship with God, or before any other problem. Let’s put aside the preconceived notions society has tried to impose on us and let’s seek the help that we need in a friend, family member, mentor or Pastor.

The most successful and largest companies formed recently required the combined work of two men, Google, Apple, Youtube, Wikipedia, Microsoft and an immense list were formed and built by the work and effort of two.  Don’t fear being the one that ask for help, at other times you will be the one to offer help.  We will all be at one of the two sides, for this reason do not be afraid to say:  “HELP ME!”
