A Modern Abel

Today’s market is characterized by creating products and services that will help make life easier, facilitating devices or services that will make our tasks with least amount of effort. The less work something demands, the more it will be welcomed, the easier the better.
 
Surely, a man with Abel’s profile would not fit in our culture that seeks the easy way, the way with the least amount of endeavor. Abel understood that everything in life required some effort and sacrifice. From a good relationship with God, a good marriage, career, family, business, prosperous finances, and success in any area of our life requires dedication and hard work.
 
This is why “By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did…” (Hebrews 11:4). Remember there will always be those that give much and others that will give little. But understanding that God honors faith and sacrifice, don’t give up, because “…A man reaps what he sows”
 
In whatever area of your life you have invested energy and sacrifice; you will have your reward as evidence that even in these modern times there are still people like Abel.
