1. How do I become a successful man before God?

To know the will of God or the calling God has for your life you can follow these 6 pieces of advice found in Proverbs 3:5-7

  1. Trust the Lord with all your heart.
  2. Do not rest on your own understanding
  3. Acknowledge God in all of your steps
  4. Submit to the Lord
  5. Fear the Lord
  6. Stay far from evil
Proverbs 3:5-7 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil."

2. What do I do to have my entire family serve God?

For our family and friends to know Christ as their savior we should:

  1. Pray for them, as the word says pray without ceasing.
  2. Be an example, holding a good testimony of your faith in God.
  3. Show the love of Christ
  4. Preach the Gospel with the hope that you will see the fruit
  5. Be patient
  6. Believe that the work of God is complete in their lives

Colossians 1:3-9 “We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints— the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth. You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf, 8and who also told us of your love in the Spirit. For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.”

3. How can I increase my faith?

Expose yourself to the word of God and meditate on it, study it and obey. There are no short cuts in growing in our faith, we need to delight in the word and devote ourselves to live by it.

Romans 10:13-17 "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?" Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
